The 33rd edition of the Southeast Asian Games officially began on December 9 at Rajamangala National Stadium in Thailand, drawing athletes from 11 participating countries. The biennial multi-sport event features robust competition across the region, with the host country dominating the current medal standings.

As of the latest update at 9:01 A.M., Thailand leads the medal tally with 184 gold, 120 silver, and 80 bronze medals, totaling 384. Vietnam follows with 64 golds, 68 silvers, and 94 bronzes, aggregating 226 medals. Indonesia ranks third, securing 72 gold, 85 silver, and 93 bronze medals (250 total).
