Bacolod Triumphs in OBL Sinulog Cup 2026 Under-18 Basketball Tournament

The Bacolod team secured the championship in the Online Basketball League (OBL) Sinulog Cup 2026 for the 18-under division after a hard-fought 64–57 victory over the Ormoc squad. The final match took place at the Cebu Eastern College gym on Saturday, January 17.

Ruyton Celis of Bacolod was recognized as the tournament's Most Valuable Player, highlighting his significant contribution to the team's success. The Sinulog Cup featured six teams and began its competition on Wednesday, January 14.

In addition to Celis, the Mythical Five lineup included James Subayno and Joshua Sicsic from Ormoc, Andre Hucalinas from Bacolod, and Kenneth Fuller from Cebu.

The annual tournament is organized by former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Mark Anthony Tallo alongside coach Rodmark del Rosario, continuing their commitment to nurturing young basketball talent.
