Lotlot De Leon recently shared a personal piece of her late mother, famed actress Nora Aunor, by posting a photograph of a handwritten letter on social media. The letter, dated August 3, 1988, was positioned atop a stack of correspondence and featured the treasured message: "My Dearest Baby, cheer up! Right this instant, someone somewhere is thinking of you!" penned in fluid blue ink.

In the post, Lotlot captioned the image simply as "Letters from mom," drawing attention not only to the heartfelt words but also to Nora Aunor's distinctive and elegant handwriting. Followers and fans alike were quick to admire the exquisite penmanship, with comments praising the Superstar's skill in both writing and sentiment.

One commentator noted, "Ang genius talaga ng ating super star kahit sa kanyang sulat kamay napakaganda," while others expressed amazement at the neat cursive and tender message, reflecting the depth of Nora Aunor's character.

Nora Aunor passed away on April 16 due to acute respiratory failure at age 71. Her necrological service was held at the Metropolitan Theater in Manila, followed by her interment at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on April 22, attended by numerous fans and colleagues known as Noranians.

The Philippines continues to honor her legacy through various tributes, including special film screenings and even creating pastries named in her memory.
