Sean Quitevis Joins Tropang 5G, Bringing Familiarity and Depth to PBA Season 50

Sean Quitevis is set to join the Tropang 5G lineup for the upcoming PBA Season 50, entering familiar territory thanks to his prior involvement with the team. The former Ateneo standout was selected by TNT as their first pick in the third round of the 2025 PBA Draft presented by Pocari Sweat. Unlike many rookies who face adjustment periods, Quitevis is already well-acquainted with the team’s system.

"I joined their training camp last December, so the transition has been quite smooth," Quitevis shared. "I understand their defensive schemes well. My goal isn’t to elevate my own profile but to support my teammates."

In addition to participating in TNT’s training camp, Quitevis frequently observed the team’s practices held at the Blue Eagle Gym, which serves as his former college team’s home court. This familiarity is expected to facilitate his integration into the squad.

With his reliable playmaking skills and composure, Quitevis is anticipated to provide the Tropang 5G with valuable depth, particularly in the backcourt. His contribution comes at a crucial time as the team continues to await the return of seasoned veteran Jayson Castro, who is sidelined due to injury.
