Naga Police Arrest Man for Repeated Harassment and Threats Against Neighbor

Authorities in Naga, Cebu, apprehended a 30-year-old man identified as Giovani Repunte from Purok 11, Xenia, Barangay Colon, for repeatedly causing disturbances and threatening his neighbor. The arrest occurred on Thursday after Repunte was reportedly heard shouting and issuing death threats against his neighbor known as "Lany" and her family.

According to Police Senior Master Sergeant Jake S. Catane, an investigator on the case, this was not Repunte’s first offense. In addition to verbal threats, he allegedly threw stones and spat at his neighbor. Described as a troublemaker who becomes aggressive when provoked, Repunte had previously been forgiven for similar actions.

However, due to his repeated misconduct, the victim has now decided to file charges. Repunte is currently held at the Naga Police Station and faces allegations of Alarms and Scandal as well as Threats.
